Affiliated to China Railway Signal & Comm. Corp. (CRSC), Xi'an Railway Signal Factory (XRSF) was first founded in 1959 and one of the first batch government-run enterprises that have been authorized the right for self importing and exporting. It covers an area of 260,000㎡, occupies fixed assets total value450,000,000RMB with totally 1861 employees now. 　 
     XRSF is a backbone enterprise to develop and manufacture complete sets of signaling apparatus for trunk railway and urban mass transit, electrical control equipments for diesel locomotive, passengers information system (PIS) and some electric equipments. In 1997, XRSF obtained ISO9001 quality system certificate .In 2001, XRSF was awarded as a demonstration enterprise for CIMS application listed in National 863 Project.
